A DAY IN THE LIFE

In this role, you'll perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and main component or blade work on wind turbines. You will work at heights and in confined spaces, exposed to weather conditions. Typically, you'll work 5 days a week, 8-10 hours per day, with an on-call rotation for off-hours including weekends. Up to 15% of your work hours may involve assisting at other site locations. Teams usually consist of 2-3 members, climbing 1-2 turbines daily. The site offers opportunities for growth within Vestas and is ideal for outdoor recreation enthusiasts, with skiing, fishing, and mountains nearby.

  • You have a High School diploma or equivalent, with wind experience, wind schooling, or 1-2 years of mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical work background.
