Job summary

Acuren Wind Canada Inc. is recruiting for experienced Wind Turbine Service and Maintenance Technicians to support projects across Canada for the 2026 season.

The role involves performing maintenance on SGRE wind turbines, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, and inspecting turbine blades to company standards. Positions require travel to remote sites with flights and accommodations provided, and start around April 1, 2026, lasting through December 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in wind turbine service or equivalent industrial maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 100m and in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively.
• Safety Certifications (First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection, Working at Heights, CSTS) are assets.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems within SGRE turbines.
• Inspect and ensure repairs on wind turbine blades are completed to company standards.
• Follow SGRE safety procedures and LOTO protocols.
• Utilize SGRE diagnostic tools and documentation to carry out repairs.
• Work as part of a team with a safety-first approach and document findings.
• Establish techniques for proper examination and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Apply testing criteria and evaluate results according to specifications.
• Work at heights >300 feet via rope access or suspended platforms, in remote locations.
