Energy Vault is seeking Level 3 technicians for wind turbine inspection and repair across Canada. Successful candidates will perform critical inspections, lead repair efforts, and mentor junior technicians, all while adhering to safety protocols and ensuring efficient project execution. The role demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work under various conditions, including at heights and in confined spaces. Certifications and practical experience in wind turbine maintenance are required to excel in this physically demanding position.
Location: 100% travel across Canada

Level 3 technicians will be responsible for the internal and external inspections, defect analysis, and Category 1-5 repair of fiberglass and composite blades, hub/nose cone, and nacelles from all categories with no supervision. Level 3 technicians must be willing and able to train level 1 & 2 technicians on all repairs. Level 3 technicians will also have added responsibilities, such as blade document review and submission to the Operations Manager and Engineering team, as well as daily reporting of team’s time on site via the daily work report (DWR).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Educational requirement: Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent, preference given to those with Renewable Energy education
Mandatory Training and Certifications - Arc Flash/NFPA70E, Confined Space & Rescue, GWO BST, GWO ART, GWO BTT, WHIMS, Respirator Fit Testing, LOTO.IRATA certification is preferred but not essential.
Technicians MUST be fully certified prior to being assigned to a project.
Experience of 3+ years in blade inspections, working with suspended platforms, blade repair and repair materials, anda thorough understanding of the laminating process and wind blade composition.
Successful candidates must pass a background, possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Work conditions are physically demanding, including but not limited to bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads. The position requires attention to detail, good teamwork & communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Further, technicians will be required to work at heights, in noisy environments, confined spaces.
Transportation to and from worksites within Canada will be provided.
