ENGIE North America is seeking a Wind Technician I to support wind farm operation and maintenance at the Caribou Wind Farm near South Tetagouche, BC. You will perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on turbines and equipment and join an on-call rotation for outages.
The role requires climbing turbines, using testing tools, following LOTO and safety procedures, and completing required competency tests. Travel and on-site work are expected.
As a Wind Technician I, you will support the operation and maintenance of the wind power facilities at the Caribou Wind Farm located near South Tetagouche, BC by performing basic troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on ENGIE’s wind turbines and associated equipment. You will also be a part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies; therefore, you must reside within 80km of the site.
Hourly Range: $25.96 – $41.00 CAD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan and emergency or on-call pay.
