What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents including wills, powers of attorney, personal directives, and probate applications
  • Open and manage client files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm standards
  • Liaise with clients, lawyers, and third parties in a courteous and professional manner
  • Schedule meetings, signings, and court appointments with efficiency and precision
  • Assist with estate administration filings and documentation for court submissions
  • Maintain electronic and paper files, handle dictation, data entry, and file management
  • Prepare reporting letters and final accounting documentation
  • Stay on top of deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding matters

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, with a focus on Wills and Estates
  • Solid understanding of estate procedures and court filing requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal software
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A professional, empathetic approach when dealing with sensitive client matters
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines with ease
