WildSafeBC is the provincial leader in preventing conflict with wildlife through collaboration, education, and community solutions. Our message of “keeping wildlife wild and communities safe” emphasizes the role humans play in reducing our impact on wildlife and increasing community safety.
The WildSafeBC Community Coordinator is a unique opportunity to make a difference in reducing human-wildlife conflicts locally. Essential skills include professionalism, good communication, community engagement, and the ability to work independently. Coordinators will attend training sessions to learn about BC wildlife, engagement techniques, and conflict-reduction strategies, which they will implement in their communities.
