The WIDA Assistant Director of Professional Learning Curriculum is located within the Educator Learning, Research, and Practice (ELRP) department and reports to the WIDA Professional Learning Curriculum Director. This role involves leading the creation of professional learning content across WIDA's programs, planning curriculum strategy in collaboration with the Director, and overseeing integration of Spanish Language Development (SLD) and English Language Development (ELD) content. The AD will lead a team of curriculum specialists, support outreach initiatives, and collaborate with instructional designers, researchers, and facilitators to ensure quality. The position is fully remote, with potential travel to UW-Madison campus, reimbursed as per UW policies.
Responsibilities include managing multiple projects, monitoring progress, managing resources, overseeing external vendors, estimating costs, preparing reports, setting priorities, and supervising team members. The role requires strategic planning, leadership, and communication skills.

Work is full-time, 100%, primarily remote, with ongoing/renewable appointment terms. The salary starts at $100,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits.
