Job summary

Kitchen Stuff Plus is seeking a Sales Associate to join our Retail Store team in Canada. You will deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service, assist with sales, maintain store appearance, handle cash transactions, and support replenishment and safety procedures.

You will work with a team of dedicated staff, participate in promotions, and help create a welcoming shopping experience for customers visiting our stores and online channels. The role offers flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Flexibility in scheduling including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Act as Kitchen Stuff Plus ambassador by representing the store professionally.
• Build customer relationships with exceptional service.

• Resolve and elevate customer matters as required.
• Maintain knowledge of product selection, location, features and promotions.
• Work with team to achieve store goals.
• Complete cash transactions.
• Perform basic shipping and receiving procedures.

Location: Retail Store

Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Shift Leader

As a Sales Associate you are an integral part of your store's team in the areas of customer service, sales, store maintenance, cash procedures, replenishment, and safety. You will be a member of a team of dedicated people committed to creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for customers.

Stuff you’ll do:

• Act as a Kitchen Stuff Plus ambassador by professionally representing the store and the company


• Build customer relationships by proving exceptional customer service


• Follow the 5 Non-Negotiables of Productivity


• Resolve and elevate customer matters as required

• Maintain knowledge of product selection, location, features and benefits, and in-store promotions and marketing initiatives

• Work in partnership with team members to achieve store goals


• Complete cash transactions

• Perform basic shipping and receiving procedures


• Adhere to KSP's Health and Safety Policy and Program

• Perform other directives as assigned

Stuff we need from you:

• Computer skills; ability to learn technological systems with ease


• Lift up to 40lbs


• Ladder use up to 10 feet


• Stand/walk for 8 hours

• Flexibility in scheduling including extended days, evenings and weekends


• Work additional shifts during peak holiday season
