Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) is hiring a Wheat Receiver at Springbrook Flour Mill in Springbrook, AB. This entry-level, full-time permanent role handles daily wheat movement and quality checks, with duties from sampling to inventory monitoring and sanitation.

The position offers a wage of $32.34 per hour (probationary rate applies), requires physical fitness, ability to lift 25 kg, and willingness to work shifts, including overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• Entry level position into the Mill.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift 25 kg.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Take wheat samples for quality verification on all deliveries.
• Receive wheat at the mill by truck, rail, vessel or transfer from Grain Elevator.
• Monitor wheat inventory at the plant.
• Ensure the wheat intake equipment is maintained and in good working condition.
• Maintain records and documents in accordance with procedures.
• Cover shifts in the mills, as required.
• Sanitation as per cleaning schedule.
• Assist in preventative maintenance in mills.
