Job Description

Reporting to the Business Centre Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, preparation, and delivery of customer orders, ensuring all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage warehouse operations, space planning, inventory, storage, shipping, and receiving processes;
  • Lead and supervise warehouse staff to ensure collaborative, organized, and efficient work;
  • Manage picking customer orders and ensure on-time deliveries and shipping of orders with a variety of couriers;
  • Ensure the warehouse and yard spaces are highly organized;
  • Ensure all health, safety, and security measures are followed;
  • Maintain accurate and organized warehouse records;
  • Offload trucks and check for missing and damaged merchandise;
  • Receive and verify shipments and place merchandise in stock;
  • Locate related Customer back-orders and advise Customer of their arrival;
  • Place and arrange stock in an orderly fashion and rearrange as required;
  • Pick and pack goods and ship orders in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Pack goods for damage-free shipment;
  • Other related tasks.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ideally 5 years of related experience;
  • Strong communication and people skills, initiative;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Strong ability and desire to develop and grow skills;
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification;
  • Product knowledge is an asset.
