Responsibilities

• Assist clients in completing their tax returns using TurboImpôt, providing guidance and reviewing their self-prepared returns.
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers for clients in understandable terms.
• Interact with customers via state-of-the-art video communication tools, documenting interactions for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide CRA RepID for client interactions.
• Experience with complex personal tax returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, and credits/deductions.
• Passion for helping clients navigate tax complexities and improve their experience.
• Excellent customer service skills, confident in video and audio communication tools.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule with at least 20 hours per week.

Additional Assets

• Experience preparing Business (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive pay based on experience, with ranges from $24.50 to $33.50 per hour depending on location. Eligible for bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay equity is maintained through regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
