Position Title : WFG Investment Sales, Vice President Reports To : Executive Vice-President, Individual Wealth Division

Term : Permanent Full-Time

Work Arrangements : You will work from your home office 100% of the time. You may be required to be in-person at our office in Waterloo, ON or another assigned location within the Waterloo Region, on an as needed basis. Sales related roles may be required to travel based on the assignment.

As the Vice-President, Investment Sales, World Financial Group (WFG) you will develop and implement sales and distribution strategies to achieve / exceed the Division’s sales targets. What you will be doing :

  • Develop and execute a sales and distribution strategy for the channel
  • Assist in setting annual targets and aligning with divisional goals
  • Build, coach, and mentor a sales team covering Canada
  • Develop and execute sales support programs to build Equitable’s brand
  • Grow new and strengthen existing relationships with WFG advisors
  • Input to the design and recommendation on compensation programs
  • Ensure the operations of sales processes are designed and managed effectively
  • Assist and participate in the development of division strategies, initiatives, and annual plans

What you will bring :

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experiencein investments, life insurance, or related financial services, with a deep understanding of market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of sales leadership, consistently driving repeatable, sustainable, and profitable growth across diverse distribution channels.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities, with demonstrated success in recruiting, developing, and motivating high-performing sales teams.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills, able to translate business goals into actionable sales strategies and performance metrics.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and represent the organization externally.
  • Robust financial acumen, including experience in budgeting, forecasting, and expense management to optimize profitability.
  • Post-secondary education required, preferably in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is an asset.
  • Relevant industry designations are considered strong assets.
  • Experience with digital sales enablement tools and CRM platformsto drive efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
