Job Summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC is seeking an immediate full-time, experienced Wetland Scientist to join our growing Natural Resource team. This position involves working closely with Project Managers and junior staff, reporting to our offices in Tualatin, Oregon, or Vancouver, Washington.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in wetland/wildlife ecology, environmental science/biology, botany, soils, or related sciences.
  • At least 3 years of wetland delineation fieldwork experience in Oregon and/or Washington.
  • Experience with wetland delineations using regional supplements and preparing reports according to DSL standards.
  • Experience with permit applications, SFAM, ORWAP, and Pacific Northwest plant identification.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently or in teams, and manage multiple priorities.
