Reporting to the Senior Director of Medical Affairs, Medical Affairs Leader positions are based in each zone across Nova Scotia Health (with the exception of Central). This position will act as a senior resource providing zone-based leadership and oversight in the provision of coordinated and integrated medical staff and operational matters. This role will serve as the key contact between zone and provincial medical affairs teams. It will also will indirectly report to the zone co-leadership model of Zone Medical Executive Director and VP of Zone Operations. It will also support the Zone Medical Leads and Zone Department heads and work closely with the zone based physician recruitment and other operational leaders.
The Medical Affairs Leader demonstrates the ability to understand the needs of the medical affairs and makes recommendations for action plans to address issues. The role fosters innovation throughout the organization by contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Hours$49.13 - $61.41 Hourly
