Job summary

Lammle’s Western Wear and Tack, family-owned since 1983, is seeking a Sales Outfitters for our Calgary location. This part-time role requires evenings and weekends, and focuses on helping customers find authentic western wear and tack while delivering the Lammle’s Experience.

You will build product knowledge, recognize customer needs, process purchases and returns at the register using a POS system, assist with merchandise displays, and help keep the store clean and inviting.

Qualifications

• Strong sales and customer service orientation.
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and solve problems.
• Retail experience is an asset, but not required.
• Flexibility including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of products and translate to customers through need recognition.
• Showcase a positive attitude to customers and tasks.
• Strive to reach personal productivity and sales goals.
• Be knowledgeable on current promotions and convey offerings to customers.
• Ensure each customer experiences the Lammle’s Experience.
• Process purchases, returns/exchanges and special orders at the register using POS system.
• Attend to store cleanliness and tidiness.
• Comply with policy and loss prevention procedures.
