Sweat and Tonic in Toronto seeks a Front of House Team Member to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll greet guests, support operations, manage accounts, and maintain pristine spaces while representing the Sweat and Tonic brand with energy and professionalism.

This part-time, hourly role offers a flexible schedule across weekdays and some weekends, with shifts between early morning and late evening. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every guest with a smile and verbal greeting
• Ensure seamless studio operations
• Professionally greet and assist members and guests
• Maintain presence in high-traffic areas to ensure all spaces meet exemplary presentation standards for guests. Areas of responsibility include fitness studio spaces, common areas, Tonic House, bathrooms, locker rooms and retail areas
• Address guest inquiries, concerns, and discrepancies promptly
• Update and maintain guest accounts accurately
• Train and guide new team members
• Coach team members on effective task prioritization
• Support the Shift Manager with technical issues
• Answer phone calls professionally and promptly
• Assist with account enquiries and effective resolution via email
• Conduct thorough studio tours for prospective members
• Enforce punctuality and attendance policies for members
• Execute studio opening and closing procedures
• Deliver exceptional guest service according to standard operating procedures
• Safely manage and de-escalate shoplifting or trespassing incidents
