Upgrade Labs Oakville/Toronto Franchise Owner

Position: Wellness Coach/Biohacker Technician (full-time and part-time)

Reports To: Manager

Upgrade Labs is…

The world’s first Biohacking Facility. Our objective is to optimize our client’s overall health by improving their mental and physical performance. We use state-of-the-art biohacking equipment and data-driven technology to enhance our members’ well-being from the cellular level. Our Biohacker Technician’s will…

Be an energetic team member who will assist with running a one-of-a-kind high-tech establishment to help clients upgrade their lives. A BHT will consistently deliver world-class service and foster positive customer satisfaction and loyalty at Upgrade Labs. The right person will know the Upgrade Labs’ approach to overall health and maximizing performance and a passion for helping people realize their potential. You can also prioritize your time and work in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities of the position…

  1. Serve as the first point of contact and warm welcome for all walk-in and regular Upgrade Labs clientele.
  2. Provide high level customer service and hospitality to clients.
  3. Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries.
  4. Handle facility membership database, register new clients, receive membership payments and maintain client base.
  5. Manage register, merchandise, and membership transactions.
  6. Guide customers with regards to the latest facility promotions, membership discounts, and/or special events.
  7. Schedule client appointments, communicate information regarding membership status, and resolve membership issues or inquiries.
  8. Educate clients about the ongoing benefits of using Upgrade Labs to biohack their way to optimal brain, body, and life performance.
  9. Provide world-class tours to potential new clients, educating them on the principles of Upgrade Labs.
  10. Safely run clients through biohacking technology.
  11. Complete opening/closing procedures and daily tasks assigned by AGM.
  12. Complete hourly facility checks to ensure the facility is clean, stocked, and presentable for all clients.
  13. Assist with community outreach and events to spread the Upgrade Labs love!
  14. Uphold a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  15. Work as a cohesive team with all Upgrade Labs team members to ensure efficiency and camaraderie.
  16. Maintain the distinct Upgrade Labs aesthetic, appearance, atmosphere and culture.
  17. Other tasks assigned by Manager.

Qualifications are…

  1. Able to work in Oakville.
  2. Schedule: Availability to work any day/time of the week, no restrictions.
  3. The ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
  4. Action oriented: initiate tasks and perform duties without direction.
  5. Intermediate computer skills – specifically with Zenoti (preferred).
  6. Health and fitness enthusiast and/or biohacking fan.
  7. Strong verbal and written skills.
  8. Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality – you can talk to anyone!
  9. Team-oriented and collaborative.
  10. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job including standing for up to 8 hours, occasionally sitting, walking, kneeling, and reaching, lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.

Hours of work are…

Full-time Biohacker Technicians are required to work, at minimum, 38.5 hours average per week, while part-time Biohacker Technicians are scheduled fewer than 30 hours average per week, as required. Your schedule may be varied and require you to be available for work any day or time of the week, with no restrictions and upon reasonable notice.
