Job Description

The key responsibilities of a Welding Robot Operator include setting up, operating, and maintaining robotic welding systems, ensuring they function correctly and produce outputs according to specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotic systems, especially in welding or industrial applications, is an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years field experience, including specific training on robotic equipment.
• Knowledge of 3D AutoCAD drafting is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Programming and operating robotic welding systems, including setup, parameter adjustment, and safety assurance.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting robotic welding equipment, performing routine checks, diagnosing issues, and ensuring proper operation.
• Inspecting welds for quality standards and defects.
• Following safety protocols related to welding and robotic operations.
• Assisting with other welding tasks such as loading/unloading parts and using hand tools.
• Optimizing welding parameters to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Inspecting output quality and making necessary adjustments, including minor repairs to welds.
