All‑Equip and Platinum Trailers seeks a skilled Welder/Fitter in Ontario to contribute across production welding and custom fabrication. You will read drawings, fit and weld aluminum and steel components, and help prototype new designs in a dynamic shop environment.

The role emphasizes craftsmanship and problem‑solving in a hands‑on setting, with day shifts and on‑site work, offering health benefits and opportunities to grow within a growing company.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years welding and fitting experience in fabrication, trailer, or heavy‑equipment environment.
• Proficiency in aluminum and steel welding — MIG required, TIG a strong asset.
• Strong fitting skills: read drawings, lay out parts, check tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and fabrication sketches for production and custom projects.
• Fit, assemble, and weld aluminum and steel components with precision.
• Perform production welding on repeat‑run trailer components with consistent quality.
• Support custom fabrication and prototyping by building one‑off parts and test assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to solve fit‑up challenges.
