Job summary

The CWB Group is seeking a Certification Services Representative to provide and maintain certification services for new and existing clients and to promote other CWB related service lines. This includes auditing of welding activities, procedure testing and welder testing, with primary in-person work at client locations in Saskatoon, SK and occasional remote services.

You will report to the Regional Supervisor, Western Certification, and will travel approximately 90% locally with 10% out of

Qualifications

• 5–10 years hands-on experience in Welding Fabrication and Inspection.
• CSA 178.2 Level 1 or 2 Inspector Qualifications or equivalent.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory and possess travel documents.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Auditing of companies – validating welding activities and credentials; ensuring compliance to codes and standards.
• Procedure testing – conduct testing for non-prequalified joint assemblies per CSA W59.
• Welder testing – conduct individual performance testing per CSA W47.1 and CSA 47.2.
• Public Safety activities – visit job sites and liaise with inspectors, engineers and clients.
