Job summary

Degelman Industries LP is seeking a Welder Level I to join our production team fabricating agricultural implements. You will weld metal components on a production line using drawings and fixtures, jig and weld components to meet established welding standards.

Qualifications include a one-year welding course or equivalent, ability to read blueprints and weld symbols, strong dexterity, good communication, and the ability to pass a CWB weld test.

About us:

Degelman Industries LP is searching for individuals to join our team as Welder Level l. Degelman Industries designs and manufactures equipment known for quality and respected by farmers for over 60 years.

What will you do?

The purpose of the job is tomig weld metal components together to fabricate agriculture implements in a production line environment using drawings and fixtures.

  • Jig and weld metal components efficiently with quality to meet or exceed established welding standards.
  • Must maintain an excellent attendance record.
  • Forklift operation.
  • Grinding and preparation work.
  • Operation of cutting torch.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Some exposure to welding fumes and sparks.
  • Shift work is required.
  • Relevant training will be provided.

What do you need to succeed?

  • One-year Pre-Employment Welding Course or equivalent job experience.
  • Must effectively communicate.
  • Must be able to read blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Have good manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Be able to interpret ideas and plans into practical applications.
  • Must be able to pass a CWB weld test.
