Compensation

  • $30 to $34 per hour
  • Additional rate for any site visits at $3 more per hour

The Opportunity

Position Description

The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday on days (8am – 4pm).

  • Skillfully interpret drawings, work orders, and layouts to set up work using fixtures and guides for fabricating parts and assemblies.
  • Execute welding of components and assemblies to exacting specifications with precision and consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and Engineering to refine and improve welding processes and best practices.
  • Conduct First Article Inspections to ensure accuracy and maintain production quality standards.
  • Partner with team leads and quality engineers to resolve non-conformances and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and internal operational policies at all times.
  • Perform routine maintenance and care of welding equipment, ensuring readiness and reliability.

Experience

Experience with a manufacturing required, ideally in metal fabrication.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in welding and fabrication, with deep knowledge of fitting techniques and fabrication equipment.
  • CWB 47.1 certification is required; 47.2 certification is a strong asset.
  • Hands-on experience with GMAW, FCAW, or GTAW welding processes.
  • Exposure to robotic welding and programming is a valuable advantage.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a drive to meet and exceed personal productivity targets.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for quality and output.
  • Customer-first mindset and a collaborative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Enthusiastic team player with effective communication skills and a commitment to shared success.
