Job summary

Kibbi in Ontario is seeking a welder to interpret welding process specifications and fabricate or repair metal parts. You will read welding blueprints, operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and verify weld quality meets standards.

Responsibilities include flame-cutting, arc-cutting, using brakes and shears, and hoisting heavy loads in a fast-paced outdoor environment at heights. A secondary school diploma and 7 months to under 1 year of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
• Ability to read welding blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret welding process specifications and manuals.
• Safety-conscious with attention to detail and manual dexterity.
