Job Description
Multiple openings due to company expansion
What will you do?
- MIG aluminum welding and hull/vessel construction;
- Fabrication includes fitting of pre-cut parts;
- Preparation of components for welding;
- Sub-assembly of parts including welding;
- Ensure work area is kept clean and organized to reduce or remove hazards;
- Follow all applicable Eaglecraft Boats and WorkSafeBC Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
Qualifications
What do you need to succeed?
- Proficient in MIG (Push-Pull) welding, pulse experience preferred;
- 2-3 years previous experience in welding and fabrication of aluminum products;
- Ability to safely operate saws, grinders, drills, and other power tools;
- High attention to detail is required to achieve quality standards;
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings and understand work order specifications (preferred but not required).

Working Conditions
- 18+ years of age and legally authorized to work in Canada;
- Physical effort required, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting (some heavy or awkward);
- Exposure to temperature variations, fumes, moving machinery, humidity, toxic materials, high noise levels;
- Need for concentrated attention to hearing or seeing work being performed;
- Pressure from deadlines and accuracy demands.
