SUMMARY

The Welder is involved in pipe roll welding using STT/FCAW process. This work is done inside of the fabrication shop and may be physically demanding.

Location: Edmonton, AB Fabrication Shop

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: 4&3 (10-hour days or nights)

JOB DUTIES

• Comply with company safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
• Pipe roll welding using STT/FCAW process
• Use positioners and power rolls
• Work in fabrication shop, no outdoor welding required
• May perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be an Alberta ticketed journeyman (or hold a journeyman certificate recognized by AIT)
• Alberta B-Pressure Certificate
• Must have STT/FCAW experience
• CSTS-09 or CSTS-20
• OSSA/ESC Confined Space
• Overhead Crane and Rigging certificate
• Must be physically able to lift 50lbs
