Job summary

WesTower Communications Ltd. is hiring a full-time permanent 2nd or 3rd-year Apprentice Welder (Pipe Fitter) to join our Fabrication Team in Alberta. The role offers competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to develop your skills and career.

You will work on the fabrication team, reading drawings including weld symbols, assist with fitting, and follow safe work practices. CWB FCAW certification is required or can be pursued with company support.

Qualifications

• Experience as a fabrication welder is required.
• Must be CWB FCAW certified (or willing to obtain certification).
• Good physical fitness and reliable work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Work on the fabrication team applying welding on various metals.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.
• Assist with fitting using jigs and fixtures where needed.
• Follow safe work practices and procedures.
• Check and fit flange, plate, ports and antenna mounts.
