Job summary

Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. is seeking 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Year Apprentice Pipefitters to join our Western Canada projects.

Based in Calgary with travel to sites across Alberta and nearby provinces, you will work in oil and gas construction environments, handling installations and maintenance in varying weather conditions. Qualifications

• Valid Apprenticeship Ticket is required.
• WHMIS 2015, CSO, (Intermediate First Aid, HS2 Alive and Fall Protection) certifications.
• Successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
• Oil and gas experience preferred; comfortable in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to travel away from home for extended periods.

Where our projects are located:

• Our projects happen in major sites in Western Canada, which include locations like Fox Creek/AB, Conklin/AB, Bonnyville/ AB, Fort McMurray/AB, and Prince Rupert/BC.
• You will be required to travel on your own, by vehicle. Alstar does provide a flat rate to cover travel.
