Job Description

This position offers an opportunity for individuals to expand their skills beyond academic knowledge, particularly in welding techniques such as TIG and MIG welding of non-ferrous and ferrous metals. It is not solely a helper role; the right candidate will receive comprehensive training and opportunities for growth within the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Assisting with metal fabrication, including pressure testing and vacuum testing vessels and components.
• Supporting the fit-up and assembly of vessels.
• Collaborating with the production team to investigate mechanical failures or maintenance issues.
• Sourcing and obtaining price quotations from suppliers and preparing purchase requests.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of fabrication techniques, including jigs, fixtures, fitting, and machining.
• Willingness to learn additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Experience or willingness to learn the safe and proper use of power tools.
• Openness to training and skill development.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic measuring tools.

Salary: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Flexible language requirement: French not required

Schedule: Monday to Friday
