Job description

Position and Responsibilities

As a member of the maintenance team, you will lay out, install, maintain & repair all types of pipelines, fittings, fixtures, heating units and insulation application. You will perform all kinds of welding, brazing, cutting of any type of metal including layout and fabrication of welded structures within a continuous processing facility.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $44.36 along with competitive benefits and retirement savings. Upon completion of the probation period, the hourly rate increases to $47.78.


Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

  • C of Q as a welder or steamfitter (Red Seal)
  • Experienced in pipe fitting/welding
  • Achieve Cameco’s welding tickets
  • Physically capable of performing assigned duties
  • Possesses required trade related hand tools
  • Demonstrated work performance that is consistent with a team environment
  • Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong commitment to health, safety and environment
  • Clear background check

Assets:

  • Backflow preventer certification
  • Experience gained within a chemical plant
