Job summary

Ultimate Manufactured Systems Inc. in Windsor, Ontario, is seeking a Welder to join our manufacturing team. We are looking for self-motivated individuals with good interpersonal skills who can start as soon as possible.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Windsor, ON, offering $23.25 per hour for 35–40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret welding process specifications, read blueprints, and operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Interpret welding process specifications.

  • Inspect welds to ensure they meet standards.
  • Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed.
  • Repair or replace worn parts and components.

  • The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
  • The candidate must be able to use manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment.
  • The candidate must be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
  • The candidate must examine welds to ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • The candidate must be able to operate either manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • The candidate must be able to operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • The candidate must determine the weldability of materials.
  • The candidate must be able to operate previously set-up welding machines in order to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • The candidate will be expected to maintain and repair welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • The candidate must repair or replace defective or worn parts and components.
Job Requirements
  • The candidate should be fluent in English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate should be client focused.
