Job summary

Nuhn Industries Ltd. located in Sebringville, Ontario, is seeking a skilled welder/fitter for permanent full-time work on-site. Starting ASAP with a 44-hour work week at CAD 28.00 per hour. Benefits include health and other plans. Prior welding experience and the ability to read blueprints are essential.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience, with on-site duties at the Sebringville facility. This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities in a leading metal fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Experience reading welding blueprints and specifications.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of welding experience.
• On-site work at Sebringville, ON is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment; read and follow blueprints.
• Examine welds to ensure standards and specifications.
• Operate flame-cutting equipment.
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.
• Determine weldability of materials.
• Operate welding machines to fabricate or repair parts.
• Start up, shut down and monitor robotic welding production line.

• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal
• Determine weldability of materials
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
• Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line
