Job summary

Dr. Seema Steffens DPC in Mississauga, ON is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (Level 1 or 2) to join a caring team at our office located on Dixie Road. The role offers a full-time schedule with evening shifts and two Saturdays per month, and pays CA$21.00 hourly.

Qualified candidates will have HARP Certification, dental assisting experience, and the ability to support dentists during procedures while maintaining excellent patient communication and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Certified Dental Assistant (Level 1 or Level 2) – Mississauga, ON, L5N 6P8

Salary: CA$21.00 hourly

Contract: Full-time

We are looking for a caring Certified Dental Assistant (Level 1 or Level 2) to work with us. Our office would love to hire an exceptional, experienced dental assistant who takes pride in their work, and can be a valued member of our dental team. Dental Assisting Experience in a Canadian Office is a strong asset (new grads are strongly encouraged to apply as well).

Position Requirements

• HARP Certification.
• Dental assisting experience is a strong asset.
• Sterilization/Instrument Reprocessing experience is a strong asset.
• Must be able to work some evenings during the week (we are off on all Fridays and Sundays).
• Must be able to work selected Saturdays (2 Saturdays per month).
• Must have good communication skills and comfortable with phone calls and administrative duties
• Must be familiar with taking impressions and x-rays.
• Must be familiar with assisting/supporting dentists during preventative and restorative procedures.
• Computer knowledge is an asset.
• An independent, dedicated, committed and caring individual.
