Job summary

MBRP in Huntsville, Canada is looking for a skilled welder with 3–5 years of experience. You will operate manual or automated welding equipment, read blueprints, and ensure welds meet specifications in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

This on-site role requires good dexterity, attention to detail, and strong teamwork. Eligible candidates should be fluent in English and capable of handling heavy lifting and long shifts while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years welding experience
  • On-site work required; no remote option
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints and drawings
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Maintain and repair welding equipment
  • Physically demanding environment and fast-paced
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
  • Set up machines and equipment
