Job description

We are working closely with a team specialized in state-of-the-art welding and fabrication. This team is looking to add experienced Welders to join their team in Baraga, Michigan.

The Welder is responsible for the fit-up and welding of components to produce high-quality products in a timely manner, ensuring safety and industry standards.

What We Offer:

  • $18 – $26 per hour, based on skills and experience.
  • Weekly paycheck.

  • Full-time position: Monday-Thursday 6am – 3:30pm, Friday 6am – 10am.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain effective welding operations to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Fabricate complex weldments according to customer specifications.
  • Operate a forklift; training provided.
  • Organize and clean work area.
  • Assist other production areas as needed.
  • Communicate with leadership when necessary.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Self-motivation and excellent work ethic.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a welder or completion of a formal welding program from a recognized technical school/institute.
  • Welding certification, or willingness to obtain AWS certification.
  • Ability to read and understand welding blueprints.
  • Proficiency with precise measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to balance urgency with quality and efficiency.
  • Adherence to business policies and safety practices.
