Job summary

Glen Transport seeks a motivated Welder to join our growing team in British Columbia. You will weld from mild steel to aluminum, participate in a 4 on/3 off day shift rotation, and perform fabrication tasks on site.

Strong communication, attention to detail, and safety awareness are essential. Journey-Certified Welder is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and reliable performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years welding experience or apprenticeship.
• Strong communication and attention to detail with safety focus.
• Self‑motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and in a team.
• Journey-Certified Welder preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication work as required.
• Comply with Health and Safety policies and WorkSafe BC standards.
• Attend company sponsored training and dealer specific programs.

Glen Transport is currently searching for a highly motivated Welder to join our growing team!

This position requires knowledge of welding techniques from mild steel through to aluminum. Glen Transport is located in Skookumchuck, BC.

Position Requirements:

• 2-3 years welding apprentice
• Strong oral and written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on safety
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• Able to work closely in a team environment
• Ability to multitask
• Manual dexterity
• Journey-Certified Welder/Interprovincial Red Seal Certification (Preferred, but Not Required)

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fabrication work as required
• Work in compliance with Company Health and Safety policies and WorkSafe BC standards
• Attend company sponsored training classes and dealer specific training courses as scheduled by Management
