The Territory Account Manager is the key liaison between WEG Marathon and its customers, representing Marathon Industrial Motors business.
This position owns a defined list of accounts and is responsible for daily activities, revenue growth, and profitability within these accounts. The Account Manager works to identify prospective new business, develop relationships, and provide technical and commercial solutions, aiming to surpass revenue and profitability targets. Additional responsibilities include implementing account plans, conducting training, and introducing new products and solutions.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Account Manager provides real-time feedback on projects, forecasts, opportunities, competitive threats, and market intelligence. Daily activities include tactical and strategic discussions on pricing and channels. The role has dotted line responsibilities to other business leaders and is ideally based in Calgary or Edmonton.
