TAPP Workforce Solutions Inc. is assisting a well-established transportation company in Winnipeg, MB, to hire a Truck Technician on the weekend shift.

The role offers three days on, then four days off, with competitive pay and a robust benefits package. You’ll work on a diverse heavy-duty fleet, perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs, and mentor apprentices as part of a safety‑minded, growth‑oriented shop culture.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Transport Truck Technician certification or equivalent inter-provincial certification required.
• Manitoba CVIP license with ability to sign commercial vehicle safeties required.
• 3–7 years in-shop heavy-duty truck maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on engines, drivetrains, braking and auxiliary systems.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and safety inspections to OEM standards.
• Manage work orders with accurate labour, parts and technical documentation.
• Coordinate weekend shop workflow and communicate repair timelines to supervision.
• Handle parts verification, warranty documentation and inventory procedures.
• Provide hands-on guidance and coaching to apprentices and junior technicians.
