Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Heavy Duty Cleaner to maintain interior and exterior areas of the property. The role covers cleaning restrooms, floors, and common spaces to ensure owner and guest satisfaction.

The position operates on Saturdays and Sundays in Etobicoke, ON, with a wage of CAD 18.25 per hour, offering consistent shifts and opportunities to contribute to high standards of cleanliness and maintenance within our property services team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard janitorial methods and use of chemicals, fertilizers, and pesticides.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate cleaning equipment.
• Proven ability to follow instructions and work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services restrooms.
• Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors and stairways.
• Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials by hand or with equipment.
• Observes conditions and reports needed repairs or hazards.
• Dusts blinds, furniture, frames, railing, and windowsills.
• Polishes furniture, metal work, and chrome surfaces.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Cleans walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, and fixtures.
• Cleans grounds and parking lots from litter and debris.
• Moves heavy furniture and equipment with dollies or power equipment.
