Join Our Team as Weekend Concierge – Chinese/Mandarin Speaking!
We are seeking a professional Weekend Concierge – Chinese/Mandarin speaking to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will provide exceptional customer service, respond to client needs, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Resident Service: Assist residents with various needs, such as package handling, key management, and information inquiries.
Move-in/Move-out Procedures and Supervision: Complete all booking documents regarding a move-in or move-out as defined in the bylaws and rules. Record any applicable payments made and forward them to the management agency’s office.
Mail, Parcels, Packages, and Access: Receive residents’ packages, courier mail, etc., at the residents’ request with a signed Authorization Waiver Form.
Vendor Coordination: Facilitate communication with service providers and contractors for maintenance or repairs within the property.
Event Planning: Organize and coordinate community events or gatherings to foster a sense of community among residents.
Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks, such as managing reservations, maintaining records, and assisting with resident communications.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, alert the appropriate authorities, and guide residents in safety protocols.
Building Maintenance: Report and coordinate minor maintenance issues and liaise with property management for resolution.
Information Resource: Act as a knowledge resource for residents regarding local services, amenities, and community policies.
Communication Liaison: Facilitate effective communication between residents, property management, and other relevant parties.
Requirements:
Flexibility, availability, and the ability to address requests promptly
Proven experience in hospitality, customer service, or related fields
Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, scheduling software, etc.)
Job Type: Part-time
Starting Date: June 1
Shift Timings: 8 am – 4 pm (Saturday – Sunday)
Salary: $22.00 per hour
Proficiency in Chinese/Mandarin is required
Experience:
Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Concierge/caretaker/building manager: 1 year (preferred)
