The role focuses on developing responsive, user-friendly websites that reflect our brand identity and drive engagement. You will play a key role in collaborating with marketing, design, and IT teams to ensure functionality, accessibility, performance, and aesthetics are aligned with strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain websites primarily using WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, templates, and advanced configurations.
  • Customize and maintain themes, templates, and plugins to align with brand and functional specifications.
  • Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to update site content and integrate media and SEO best practices.
  • Optimize websites for performance, mobile responsiveness, accessibility (WCAG 2.1), and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Manage website hosting environments, DNS records, SSL certificates, backups, and updates.
  • Implement and troubleshoot integrations with third-party services such as CRMs, payment gateways, email marketing tools, and analytics.
  • Ensure websites follow best practices in terms of security, backups, scalability, accessibility, and site speed.
  • Monitor website traffic, analyze metrics using tools like Google Analytics, and recommend performance improvements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of website structure, customizations, updates, and administrative protocols.
Required Skills:
  • Advanced experience with WordPress development, including theme customization and plugin integration.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with major WordPress builders such as Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals, schema markup, and on-page optimization.
  • Working knowledge of WooCommerce for WordPress-based e-commerce projects.
  • Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with website migration, staging environments, and site backup/restoration processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Shopify, Squarespace, Webflow, Wix, or other no-code/low-code platforms.
  • Proficiency in managing cPanel, FTP/SFTP, and hosting control panels.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) for integrating dynamic features into websites.
  • Familiarity with email marketing integration (Mailchimp, Constant Contact), CRM tools, and marketing automation.
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and experience using tools to test WCAG compliance.
  • Experience with performance optimization tools like GTmetrix, Google PageSpeed Insights, or WP Rocket.
  • Graphic design experience or familiarity with tools like Adobe XD, Figma, Canva, or Photoshop.
