Job summary

Info-Ways in Brampton, Canada, seeks an experienced WebLogic/Middleware Admin to manage IBM MQ and WebSphere MQ environments. The role involves MQ design, clustering, broker architecture, and collaboration with L3/Development to resolve urgent middleware issues.

You will work on monitoring results, optimize performance, and mentor teammates in middleware best practices. Prior Rogers experience is preferred and required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of middleware administration components (e.g., Application Server, Web Server, Database Server).
• Experience with IBM MQ administration and WebSphere MQ concepts.
• Experience with MQ clustering and broker architecture in large SOA projects.

Responsibilities

• Analyse monitoring results to improve operational efficiency of Tuxedo components.
• Coordinate with L3/Development teams on technical errors.
• Hands-on installation/configuration of MQ on Windows and UNIX.
• Troubleshoot production MQ issues and ensure high availability.

Role: WebLogic/Middleware Admin

Location: Brampton, Canada

Duration: 6+ Months

BGV will be done for the selected candidates.

Note : I am looking Ex-Rogers resources only. Without prior experience with Rogers will not work.

Job Description

• Must have sound knowledge of other Middleware Administration Components e.g. Application Server, Web Server, Database Server, etc.


• Closely Work with Oracle Global support for resolving urgent issues which includes logging and tracking issues


• Analyze monitoring results to produce recommendations to improve operational efficiency of Tuxedo components


• Resource should be comfortable with IBM MQ administration as follows,


• Should be working on issues related to middleware infrastructure design & architecture including clustering & scalability


• Excellent troubleshooting production issues related to MQ


• Strong experience in designing Message Flows, Message Sets


• Must have thorough knowledge on Message Broker using IBM MQ


• Coordinate with L3 /Development team on identified Technical Errors


• Strong knowledge of WebSphere MQ concepts, IBM MQ and MQ Clustering


• Strong knowledge of EAI and SOA design patterns, overall SOA architecture


• Design and Developed reusable components for SOA based implementations


• Support / Guide teams in Creation of re-usable assets, frameworks, solution packs


• M/W support with expertise in IBM WebSphere Message Queue and Message Broker


• Hands on with Installation / configuration of MQ series support / fix packs on windows / UNIX


• Strong knowledge of WebSphere Message Broker, overall understanding on Broker architecture


• Will be responsible for configuration / management of Broker registries and execution group monitoring


• Must have architected SOA solutions using WebSphere Message Broker or similar in large integration project


• Experience / knowledge in WebSphere process server and WebSphere integration developer would be good to have


• Sound knowledge in WebSphere MQ v6.0 / v7.0 / v7.5 Installation / Configuration / administration on Windows & Unix

Good To Have

• ITIL / PMP Certification


• Should be able to technically lead the team from the front


• Ability to mentor other team members in areas of technical expertise


• Oracle Certification in MQ / SOA / Weblogic / Tuxedo


• To actively participate in Client meeting / presentations
