Web Experience Specialist

Starting Date: November 2024
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid (Opportunity to work in-office 3 days a week and from home 2 days a week. This is not a remote role.)

Role Description: We are seeking a talented and passionate Web Experience Specialist to join EF Educational Tours. The role involves driving daily operations and optimization of our public-facing websites, implementing dynamic content, and supporting our digital content strategies. This is a full-time position with an immediate start. Reporting to the Growth Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Marketing team to support website strategy, front-end maintenance, reporting, optimization, and tech integrations, primarily using Storyblok headless CMS. You will add and edit content, analyze market data and digital traffic, and ensure brand consistency. The ideal candidate enjoys learning new tools, is familiar with current digital tactics, and is detail-oriented. This role does not involve content creation or writing.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. Develop and maintain website strategy with the Growth Marketing Manager, focusing on maintenance, reporting, and optimization.
  2. Create landing pages and content pages.
  3. Use CMS to develop and test new components on the website.
  4. Update and edit web content as needed.
  5. Optimize the website to improve conversion rates, engagement, and time spent.
  6. Apply strategic best practices to enhance website performance.
  7. Plan, test, and report on web optimizations within testing frameworks.
  8. Collaborate across departments to create inspiring web experiences.
  9. Bring innovative ideas with a proactive, enthusiastic, and solutions-oriented approach.

Who You Are:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and website optimization's role in organic and paid marketing.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A related degree is a plus.
  • 3-4 years of experience in:
    • Google Analytics and GA4, including data layer variables and journey attribution.
    • Technical SEO management and best practices.
    • Headless CMS management and component creation (Storyblok & Sitecore preferred).
    • JQuery, REST APIs, React endpoints and architecture.
    • Responsive design, UX/UI principles, and WCAG2.0 familiarity.
    • Ad platform, pixel integration, troubleshooting, and Google Tag Manager.
    • Personalization, Conversion Rate Optimization, and form testing.
    • Creating landing pages with dynamic content.
    • Executing and reporting on A/B and iterative testing models.
  • Additional preferred skills:
    • Proactive troubleshooting of web platforms.
    • Data-driven reporting for diverse audiences.
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Basic knowledge of marketing automation and CRM, especially Salesforce Sales Cloud.
    • Quick learner, proactive, and relationship builder across teams.
    • Interest in global education and travel.
