ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is ideal for someone with good working knowledge of WordPress and Shopify.

As a design and development-focused role, your responsibilities will include designing and building new WordPress & Shopify websites for small to medium-sized businesses.

You will work within an established team of web developers, utilizing Marwick's web design framework to deliver consistent results, on time and within budget.

The role requires the ability to work with a creative brief and strong attention to detail.

While we typically use Elementor for basic WordPress site builds, we are open to suggestions if you prefer a different stack.

This position requires minimal coding and development skills, but more experience is a plus.

Web Design & Development Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to project timelines and scopes.
2. Ensure front-end changes are carefully implemented for efficient client feedback.
3. Communicate directly with clients to understand their goals and execute using Marwick's framework.
4. Design and build websites based on client briefs.
5. Utilize modern page builders like Elementor.
6. Conduct occasional training sessions with clients on website updates.
7. Take ownership of website launches, maintaining SEO elements for ranking.
