Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking a Web Developer for a right to hire assignment with a premier financial services client in Mississauga, ON.

The role focuses on building and supporting solutions using .NET Core, Angular, and Node.js, with emphasis on Financial Calculation Engine modules. The ideal candidate will have 4-5+ years of experience in .NET and JavaScript libraries, SQL Server fundamentals, and strong CI/CD knowledge, along with solid SDLC experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field.
• 4-5+ years of experience developing with Microsoft .NET, Angular, and Node.js.
• SQL Server fundamentals.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes.
• Experience across all phases of the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support solutions using .NET Core C#, Angular, Node.js, and related technologies.
• Design & develop solutions with .NET, Angular, Node.js, SQL Server.
• Produce well-commented high-quality code and release documents.
• Collaborate with team lead/BA to understand business requirements.
• Provide technical walkthroughs to QA/UAT and other stakeholders.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to address data-related inquiries.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Web Developer for a right to hire assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in Mississauga, ON.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and supporting solutions developed using .NET Core C#, JavaScript libraries Angular, Node.js and related technologies.
• Focused on development and support of modules for Financial Calculation Engine, basic financial knowledge is a big plus.
• Design & develop solutions using .NET, Angular, Node.js, SQL Server and related technologies.
• Produce well commented high quality code. Technical & Release documents.
• Interaction with team lead and/or BA to understand the business requirements.
• Provide technical walk-throughs to various stake holders (QA Team, UAT Team, etc.)
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and work through data related inquiries and issues.
• Be able to work independently as well as within a team

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field.
• 4-5+ years of working experience in developing using Microsoft .NET , open-source Javascript libraries: Angular, Node.js
• SQL Server fundamentals
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes
• Experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation (all phases of software development life cycle - SDLC)
• Very strong working experience with .NET Core and Javascript libraries
• Knowledge and experience using Ci/CD tools.
• Some understanding of financial industry is an asset.
• Excellent functional, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent written, presentation and communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills to identify creative ways to achieve solutions

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL Server is preferred.
