Job summary

iData Research in Burnaby, BC, is seeking a Full-Time Web Developer to join our in-house team. You will build and maintain e-commerce and content websites, optimize performance, and develop APIs for external platforms.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year experience with WordPress/WooCommerce, React/Node.js, MySQL, and AWS. This is an in-office role at Kings Crossing; we offer dental and extended health care, paid time off, and a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Formal education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Web Development, or related discipline.
• 1+ year of professional industry experience.
• Proven experience with modern full-stack technologies (React, Node.js, Next.js, Tailwind CSS).
• Strong MySQL database management and optimization.
• Extensive WordPress and WooCommerce development experience (themes, plugins, hooks).
• Experience with shell scripting is a plus.
• Proficient in Git and repository management.
• Hands-on AWS experience.
• Self-motivated with strong business acumen and communication skills.

We are seeking a Full-Time Web Developer to join our young and dynamic Company. As part of iData’s support team, your focus will also be providing support to the internal departments handling general IT support as well as new web development projects and to ensure delivery of internal objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain in-house e-commerce and responsive content websites/applications.
