Web Designer Jonas Software – Club House Online Division. The company specializes in enterprise management software solutions for clubs, foodservices, construction, and related industries. THE POSITION: We are seeking a dedicated Web Designer to join our team on a full-time basis with strong modern UI design skills. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Design Team in a high-demand industry and will participate in day-to-day team processes, including speaking with clients about website design, creating mock-ups, executing full website builds, and managing/updating projects. You should be committed to creating high-quality websites and outstanding customer experiences as a liaison to clients, guiding, communicating, consulting, and assisting with managing their online presence. This includes providing site audits and recommendations via sitemap flowcharts to help clients properly represent their branding. The role requires creating content based on up-to-date SEO guidelines and best practices. Familiarity with HTML and CSS is expected to push designs to the limit to deliver outstanding results. Responsibilities

• Work directly with clients to create a mock-up of what their website will look like
• Create and manage content for existing and new website customers using the ClubHouse Online E3 content manager
• Design website content elements using modern UI, responsive design, and typography principles; modify/create content elements with HTML and CSS
• Build web content using SEO best practices and explain SEO guidelines and techniques to clients
• Perform miscellaneous design-related and administrative tasks as required and ensure design deadlines are met
• Create custom HTML email templates for the ClubHouse Online Email Marketing platform
• Create and modify design assets in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign
• Administrative tasks such as project tracking via online Customer Management Software
• Provide occasional online sessions via WebEx sharing content and/or SEO best practices

Qualifications

• Educational background in web design or at least 1 year of experience in web content design. Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is an asset
• Working knowledge of Adobe graphic/multimedia software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of responsive, modern UI and typography design; experience designing for various devices and operating systems
• Experience with a Content Management System (CMS) such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Kentico
• Working knowledge of email marketing software such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Emma, Campaigner
• Ability to understand and follow wireframes, sitemaps and prototypes
• Knowledge of website best practices including SEO and web accessibility principles
• Excellent organizational, time management, punctuality and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Good team player, but able to take personal responsibility for issue resolution
