The Web & CRM Specialist supports digital marketing campaigns and contributes to the overall success of Coast Hotels by optimizing and updating the brand website (www.coasthotels.com ). This role focuses on digital marketing trends and analytics to ensure data-driven continuous improvement of the company's most important marketing channel. The in-house Marketing Team at Coast Hotels is dedicated to building value and fostering ongoing guest relationships that support broader brand awareness strategies and revenue generation goals.

In collaboration with the Web & CRM Marketing Manager, the specialist executes all seasonal digital campaign strategies for Coast Hotels. This position assists hotel partners in reviewing and understanding the guest database and provides support in the completion and deployment of highly targeted, offer-driven promotions to drive conversion and revenue in the core channels and systems : digital and email marketing.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player with strong problem-solving skills, excellent organizational abilities, and extensive digital marketing experience. They excel in digital marketing best practices, including SEO, SEM, and content marketing, and demonstrate strong analytical skills. Additionally, they have expertise in creating written website content, email, and landing page copy, and are familiar with email marketing campaigns and strategies.

The role involves supporting and partnering with all Coast Hotels properties to leverage the brand’s website and CRM system, share insights, and deliver high-volume digital marketing initiatives. This collaboration aims to improve the end-to-end customer experience and life cycle. The Web & CRM Specialist uses data to guide content creation and audience engagement. They thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, focusing on developing digital marketing strategies to attract new customers and build brand loyalty.

This role is based out of our downtown Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote / in-office work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop content for brand promotion landing pages, web pop-ups, and drip email campaigns in collaboration with the Web & CRM Marketing Manager.
  • Work with the Web & CRM Marketing Manager to define OKRs, digital marketing plans, and strategies that align with company goals.
  • Identify promotional opportunities by analyzing guest profile preferences and Google Analytics reports, and track website statistics.
  • Execute Web & CRM strategies to enhance growth, profitability, guest experience, and customer life cycle.
  • Collaborate with all Coast Hotels properties to support marketing, loyalty, and distribution teams.

Use the Content Management System to implement customized guest promotions for the website and email marketing.

  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
  • Maintain, organize, and update CRM email templates using HTML and CSS.
  • Build customer segmentation for email marketing and manage deployment scheduling.
  • Provide consistent support to hotels and offer online training to maximize CRM system usage.
  • Optimize Google Business Listings for local search visibility.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience :

  • Post-secondary education in related field.
  • Minimum two years’ work experience with CRM and / or email marketing systems including deployments and data analysis.
  • Strong web analytical skills using platforms like Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Console, with the ability to track and optimize campaign performance through their insights to make informed marketing strategies.
  • Understanding of digital marketing best practices, including SEO, SEM, UX / UI, mobile design, and content marketing.
  • Experience with HTML and CSS
  • Experience with Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suites an asset.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Full proficiency in English, with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates superior customer service attitude.
  • A unique combination of technical, analytical, quantitative, and creative skills
  • Confident in managing multiple projects with good time management skills.
  • Positive team player with a can-do attitude who can thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative business environment.
  • Able to effectively balance autonomy and collaboration.
  • Experience with A / B testing to fine-tune performance across email is an asset.
  • Knowledge of email regulations, best practices and compliance is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and Google My Business is an asset.
  • Experience in the hospitality or tourism industry is an asset.
  • Familiarity with the OKR method is an asset.
