Reporting to Digital Analytics Manager, the Web Analyst will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights and reporting on trends and performance. The candidate will contribute to the organization’s understanding of customers and booking behaviors and providing leadership in data-driven decision-making. This role is designed for a professional who demonstrates expertise in transforming data into clear insights and actionable strategies that drive business growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer profiles, web bookings, sentiment, and market trends, identifying opportunities for optimization.
  • Create, manage, and optimize GA4 and Looker Studio dashboards and various reports to provide stakeholders with real-time, actionable insights.
  • Support Digital Analytics Manager in data visualization and data analysis business requests.
  • Collaborate with Digital Product, Marketing and E-commerce teams to assess the revenue impact of product iterations and digital campaigns.
  • Participate in ongoing data collection, organization, interpretation, and transformation into actionable insights for each step of the customer journey.
  • Use data to validate or refute hypotheses formulated by business stakeholders.
  • Lead the development and refinement of methodologies for data analysis, applying statistical techniques to uncover actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Analytics Manager on the thought process around data architecture, collection, and organization when needed, contributing to our future-proof web analytics practices.
  • Support email and digital media teams to strategically build and leverage segments and audiences based on demographic and behavioral data.
  • Monitor the development of AI tools in the field of data analytics and business intelligence.
  • Foster a data-driven culture of continuous learning and innovation.

What You Bring To The Team

  • A post-secondary degree in marketing, web technologies, data analysis, business intelligence (BI) or other fields relevant for ecommerce
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in data analysis
  • Expertise in web and customer analytics required
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking and data storytelling capabilities
  • Desire and ability to continuously learn and keep up to date with the latest developments in ecommerce and data analysis
  • Result-oriented and attention to details
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of successfully balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, VBA, and Power Query required
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Looker Studio and SAP BusinessObjects
  • Experience with BiqQuery, Qualtrics & SQL - an asset
  • Experience in travel or airline industry – an asset
  • Experience in data storytelling and data visualization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Bilingual written and spoken
