Position - Web API Developer

Summary

Our client is seeking to expand their technical support to publicly available sets of RESTful APIs with technical experts who will focus on developing new and maintaining existing API driven applications. Be part of an established and highly successful organization based in Toronto.

Responsibilities

1. Web Development using ASP.NET MVC, primarily Web API, and other client side and server side frameworks and technologies.
2. Maintaining and improving existing RESTful services applications.
3. Integrating new solutions into existing platform.
4. Working closely with other staff members such as project managers, marketing specialists, content managers, translators, and testers.

Required Skills and Experience

1. 4+ years developing web solutions using ASP.NET MVC (C#).
2. 1+ years developing RESTful services using ASP.NET Web API or similar frameworks.
3. 3+ years experience in using JavaScript frameworks like jQuery, BackboneJS, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, etc.
4. 3+ years experience in using HTML and CSS.
5. Good understanding of development SOLID principles (especially dependency injection and single responsibility).
6. Ability to work independently and within a team.
7. Proven experience building and subscribing to RESTful services.
