Job summary

Canada Life, Toronto, is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Individual Wealth Technology team within Application Delivery. You will partner with business to define strategies, set the technical vision, and deliver high-quality technology solutions, with hands-on development when needed.

You will mentor architects, maintain architecture artifacts, and collaborate across portfolio teams to enable roadmaps while ensuring security and compliance across financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of technology experience.
• Minimum 4 years as an architect on large scale projects.
• Experience with Wealth Management tech ecosystems.
• Ability to mentor less experienced architects and developers.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, Archimate or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Defines and facilitates a solution architecture leveraging enterprise capabilities.
• Consults with business partners and delivery stakeholders.
• Maintains technical solution architectures for applications and infrastructure.
• Drives architectural decisions and develops the technical vision for the solution.
• Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and modernization.
